QCC has been out of commission for a few months now. Apologies to all my loyal readers. My favorite sister has been begging for some new posts...so here they are. This first one is a steak salad I made Adam a couple weeks ago. Wegman's sells "perfect portion" strip steaks. Pan seared these babies, cut them up and placed them on top of a lovely green salad. Yum!

QCC has been out of commission for a few months now. Apologies to all my loyal readers. My favorite sister has been begging for some new posts...so here they are. This first one is a steak salad I made Adam a couple weeks ago. Wegman's sells "perfect portion" strip steaks. Pan seared these babies, cut them up and placed them on top of a lovely green salad. Yum!
Salmon & Steak Frites
Last night I prepared a del
icious salad, along with a salmon fillet for myself and a rib eye steak for the boys, accompanied with frites (frozen curly fries). A great meal! Ari taught me prepare and cook the salmon in a new way, and it was delicious: first I covered the fillet in a little bit of EVOO, then I squeezed lemon juice all over, and finished it off with some kosher salt and pepper. The salmon was cooked for 20 minutes in a glass dish at 375 degrees, and it was absolutely amazing. For the rib eye, just a little bit of kosher salt, and flash fried for about 6 minutes on high heat. A yummy Saturday night in the Sidway.
